Mark Lowry: Apartment Plays Are “Timely and Funny”

“The show opened last weekend, but after pondering these works during the week in which the gay marriage debate in the Supreme Court has been a hot-button topic for everyone, Larry Kramer Hates Me is the one that sticks with you. Here’s hoping it gets another chance to be seen after the Upstart run, perhaps at Uptown Players’ annual Pride Performing Arts Festival. (By then, we hopefully will have found out the Supreme Court decision.)
